My new grandson is here!! I just got back from the hospital where I got to see the birth of little Ryan.
He weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz. and he is absolutely adorable!
His mommy, my daughter is doing well right now. She has complications and is still potentially in danger but they tell me that she is doing pretty well so far so I have to focus on that.
When I left the hospital the little tyke was nursing away already!! He’s got a healthy appetite!
I’m exhausted. Watching your daughter give birth is rather draining. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world! It is amazing! It’s so hard to believe that the daughter I gave birth to 33 years ago has two children of her own now!
I’m off to bed to rest up after a long night. Nighty night!

Yippeeee Yahoooeeey….This is awesome news. Keep thinking positive. Breath deep. I’m so happy for you and what a dear little boy. Grandmahood is so great. I also watched both my oldest grandchildren being born and only didn’t see the last one was because I was babysitting the older sister. It’s got to be one of the best things I’ve ever experienced. I thank my wonderful daughter in laws for allowing me the pleasure.

Praying for your daughter.
Just an update… I talked to her around 4 p.m. and baby was nursing and mama was tired, but doing well. She still hasn’t gotten any sleep, but she said she had a nice, relaxed day and isn’t in any pain, although they are still keeping an eye on her because of the bleeding. Thank you all for your kind words, and thanks to mom for letting me know this morning! I can’t wait to come see him!

Congratulations! It’s an amazing thing isn’t it? I was there to see my grand daughter enter the world. I was quite excited and a little overwhelmed. My baby girl had a baby girl.
